GP INTERMODAL DORNESTI TERMINAL

The terminal is located in the town of Dornești, Suceava county, only 6 km away from the town of Rădăuți, on the road that connects with the town of Siret. The terminal is located within the Dornești cf station and has 650 m of wide gauge line (1520 mm) and 500 m of narrow gauge line (1435 mm), 2.000 m² of storage spaces with direct access to the national network.

The terminal equipment is varied, being able to handle a diversified range of goods:

• Containers (20' and 40');
• Goods in bonds;
• Bulk goods;
• Palletized goods.

The GP Intermodal Dornești Terminal provides a varied range of handling services such as:

• Unloading of goods from wagons;
• Loading of goods into wagons;
• Transshipment of goods from wide gauge wagons (1520 mm) to standard gauge wagons (1435 mm) and vice versa;
• Storage of goods.

The goods can be handled with the following:

• Portal cranes of 20 tf;
• Atlas Terex cranes with grapple or hook (on tires);
• Railway crane EDK 80/2.
